William Doxey (Billy), Julie Burleigh (Cameron Council on Aging), Steve Martin, Mary Doxey

This is an exciting joint venture of three Ephrata PA area churches to provide housing for hurricane victims through the MDS Partnership Home Program (PHP). Ephrata Mennonite, Indiantown Mennonite and Blainsport Mennonite Churches have join forces to provide housing for the Doxey family in Cameron, LA. William, Mary Lois and grand daughter Sibyl have suffered a great deal from hurricanes Audrey, Rita and Ike and are currently living in a travel trailer on their property. We wish to extend God’s grace and mercy to the Doxeys by providing a home for them. Planning is already under way with construction to begin in Late September 09. Our goal is to have the Doxeys celebrate Thanksgiving Day in their new home.
